My Life Within — Terms of Use

1. What My Life Within is — and what it is not
My Life Within is a diary for the menstrual cycle: period days, symptoms, pain, notes, medication, measurements you choose to record, a calendar with predictions, insights about your own patterns, and a report you can hand to your doctor.
My Life Within is not a medical device, not a contraceptive and not a doctor. Predictions are arithmetic over what you have logged; insights describe your own patterns; the report contains observations, not diagnoses. None of it replaces an examination, a diagnosis or advice from a physician, and none of it is suitable for preventing or achieving pregnancy.
2. Age
The app is intended for people aged 14 or over (or the equivalent age in your country).
3. No account; the diary stays on your device
My Life Within has no account. Everything you write is kept in an encrypted database on your own device and is never sent to us — how that works is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Because the only copy is on the device, a lost, broken or replaced phone means a lost diary unless you have made a backup. The app offers an encrypted backup and reminds you about it; making one, keeping it safe and remembering its password are your responsibility. We cannot restore a diary we never had.
4. The doctor report and sharing
The report is generated on your device from what you logged. Sending it — by email, by sharing a file, by showing the screen — is your action and your choice of recipient. Once a file is in another app or in someone's inbox, it is outside My Life Within and outside these terms.
5. My Life Within Pro — the subscription
The free version covers tracking, the calendar, symptoms, reminders, basic insights, the app lock and the encrypted backup. My Life Within Pro adds the doctor report, advanced insights and the pain map, and advanced export.
- Title: My Life Within Pro.
- Length: one month (monthly plan) or one year (yearly plan).
- Price: the price shown in the App Store or Google Play for your country and currency, before you confirm — in the euro area currently **€2.99 per month or €19.99 per year**.
- Free month: the first month is free for new subscribers of either plan, once per store account. During it you pay nothing.
- Renewal: after the free month the subscription renews itself at the end of each period you chose, at the price your store shows, until you cancel it. Your store account is charged within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Cancelling: at any time, in the subscription settings of the App Store or Google Play — not inside the app. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period already paid for; during the free month it takes effect immediately and you are not charged.
- After it lapses: Pro features close; the free features and your whole diary remain. Nothing of yours is deleted.
The purchase is made with Apple or Google under their terms; refunds are requested from the store. The store tells the app only whether the subscription is active — we do not receive your payment details.
6. Liability
The app is provided with the care of a diligent trader, without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation or of the accuracy of any prediction.
My Life Within is not liable for: decisions about health, treatment, contraception or pregnancy taken on the basis of the app (section 1); loss of a diary kept only on a device without a backup (section 3); the consequences of a report you sent (section 4).
Nothing here limits your rights as a consumer under applicable consumer protection law and EU law.
7. Changes, languages, governing law and contact
A material change is announced at least 14 days in advance, inside the app. Bulgarian law and directly applicable EU law apply; where you are a consumer, the courts of your place of residence have jurisdiction. These terms are published in English and Bulgarian; the English text prevails, except for consumers in Bulgaria, for whom the Bulgarian text prevails.
